Well the A6 head flows better than the Z6 head. So keep your A6 whole, get some head work and a custom intake manifold. For N/A, go high compression pistons and a cam. For boost, get a cam made for boost.

If it is for track only, You could use a nasty cam and get by without vtec. But for a street driven car, wouldn't it benefit having vtec to have the best of both worlds? (regular drivability then the aggressive cam when you ask for it)

#163506 i have decided to install d15b7 pistons with a z6 head gasket while keeping my my d16z6 block crank connecting rods and head. should be around 11.70:1 cr i think according to zealautowerks. i may add a lil more aggressice cam later. but yes i really want vtec im not about to let my vtec go lol.
