Is it just the motor? Also give some more details ie mileage and any other knowledge would help.

the mileage is around 200,000 and hasnt been abused(red lined), but i want it so i can rebuild it. so pistons, sutds, and intake mani i wont need.
but i dont know if i should just go to the junk yards and find the parts one by one or buy a whole one?

If all you are getting is the motor then dont offer more than 200. If you get a tranny along with it, then 250-300. D series motors are a dime a dozen now. I was trying to sell mine for 100 and no one wanted it.

be sure the y8 intake mani is from a car with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION
Auto's have the IACV built into the throttle body. Manuals have the IACV in the same place on the IM as your car does now.
Also 99-00 y8 intake manifolds have some extra vac lines that you'll have to cap off and a tiny hole in each runner that you will need to block (cold start assist) so that you don't have a vacuum leak.

also...
or you can drill a hole in your intake tube, extend the wiring and install it there
