Get it recycled at an AC shop. If you get it in your eyes you could go blind. There's also a little thing called global warming.

It's really not that hard to take out properly if you have big enough wrenches. I took out my complete system and sold it for $350. I literally had every nut and bolt in the following diagrams. I didn't even break the pop tabs.

Don't forget the idler pulley and the evaporator in your heater box. You can get a solid firewall grommet from the junkyard or Majestic Honda. You should also get the condenser block off plate. It makes a big difference aerodynamically.

In fact, try just blocking off the AC condenser with some sheet metal during long trips. You pick up some pretty good gas mileage.

You work on cars the same way I do. I once used a pick axe to beat an engine loose from the motor mounts. Ahh good times. :thumb:
