try hooking up your o2 sensor before redlining your engine

I don't think you'll ever sell a used engine on this site now

wanting a non vtec D series to go higher than 6500 to begin with! much less 7500. My SOHC VTEC doesnt even hit 7500.

these are the codes i got
15 Ignition output signal
41 Primary oxygen sensor heater
the harness where the connectors for the distributor are alll hacked up and one wire is actually is bearly connecting so that might explain # 15 ( will try and rewire it or get new connectors)
but now for #41 i know the sensor isnt hooked up but its not flashing # 1 or even a # 61
when i get off work i might buy a o2sensor and see wht happens

I would avoid driving the car like that. Hacked up wiring can cause big problems when they short. Bad o2 sensors can cause your car to run too rich or lean, causing premature cat failure or detonation which can lead to the end of your engine.

is it a 1992? 92 distributors are known for wearing out. The bearings on mine went in 2002. I bought a new shell from the dealer and swapped all the electrical guts from my old dizzy. much cheaper than a whole new dizzy...
