1. another distributor - nothing
2. main relay - nothing
3. new tps sensor - nothing
4. double checked timing - nothing
5. tried different ecu - nothing
5. new wire harness ( thinking the old one was bad ) - nothing
6. checked all fuses - nothing
7. check engine light # 21 but thats cuz the only harness i could find in a junk yard was non-vtec

next thing is to get the stuff to do a compression test , ive heard something years ago that some ones civic wouldnt start cuz they had put the head gasket upside down ? :? not sure how true that would be but ne one got ne ideas on wht else to check

hold up. ok so just for ppl who dont know. you need to be a lil more specific. did you build this or it just stoped running in your car? what motor is it? vtec non vtec???? and did you try the starter? are all your grounds connected. is the battery got enough juice? did you adjust valves properly. ?? did you check all you fuses???? under dash and under hood. did you make sure ther is spark plugs? :?

does the motor crank at all? does fuel pump prime? does it sputter at all or want to start but then falls on its face? did you check for spark on each wire?

So its good that u are narrowing things down but like everyone else said just try more things like the grounds and try checking the alternator the wires too from the alt to the fuse box and the other power one too...My car had a problem with the grounds and alt wire especially at the fuse box (next to the battery)...Hopefully u can narrow it down and get it started! :)

double and triple check that your plug wires are in the right order?

How did the first distributor 'mess up'?

when i got the car the wires to the dizzy was cut and put back on and wrapped with electrical tape so when i took one off to see wht the wires looked like the wire pretty much broke a part when i was peeling the tape off and on top of that the same thing was done with the main clip that goes to the ecu so thats why i replaced the whole thing last night , i changed the ground that goes from the starter to the chassis and looked at the ground that goes to the battery also and it looked ok i might just change it cuz im already changin every thing else

but on a good note i did get purple hids and a set of black rota slipstreams with brand new tire :woot: lol
