d16 question

got a new d16z6, swapping out my current blown d16z6. now my question . on the motor i just picked where the flywheel would generally go, there is this round plate attached to the block with a bunch of holes in it, does the flywheel go attached to that? LoL. :D

no that's a flex plate from an automatic. Take it off and you have a metal frisbee. Then you're ready to put the flywheel on. Be sure to use flywheel bolts from a manual car, the ones that hold that flex plate on are not long enough :wink:

teal i swear ur the shit.. i still have my z6 in the car, just swapping it out. the piston went on cylinder #1 on my current engine. just basically swappin all my current parts to the donor motor i just picked up at the junk yard yesterday for 300 bucks.. just driving it til my b20 is built. LoL.
