hey guys my 95 dx sedan started puttering today

hey my sedan started puttering today out of the blue, and it hesitates a little and idles low. the plugs wires, cap and rotor are all pretty new, no check engine light. whats up?

actaully yea it did today several hours after it started puttering, the oil and the coolants good, i'm thinking pluged cat.

well it wasnt the cat, i replaced the exhaust as it needed to be before winter, the second cylender in from the passenger side was all water, and its was running right out the exhaust today, so i had the head gasket replaced 4-5 months ago, so i guess its bad again idk, hopefully i can get it looked at this week, my hatch needs a few minior things to drive, but the engine smokes pretty good.

i would say its definatly the HG and that you definatly shouldnt be drivin it in that condition, it could warp the head. also make sure you buy new head studs or oem head bolts when it gets replaced and use a good oem or cometic HG.

could b fuel also. pump or filter maybe. if you havent replaced them do it. just for the peace of mind.

nah its leaking water into one of the cylenders i'm going to put my hatch on the road and put the sedan in the garage, and have it looked at.
