make sure your cam gear and your crank pulley are both set to tdc (top dead center) and place belt on and tighten tensioner.

ok this is sound like alot but its easy

under the glove box there is a 2 prong wire conector
this is where you jump the wires to find out what your cel is
http://www.civic-eg.com/viewtopic.php?t=1558

your gonna jump the connector, this stops the ecu from adjusting the timing while your fixing it

but 1st turn our car on and tel it sit there till the rad fan comes on and off, then jump the connector, then using the timing light to find out where your timing it.. OEM SPECS are 16* +/- 2*(16 degrees plus/minus 2 degrees)

to adjust it if its outta timing, loosen the 3 bolts that hold the dizzy on and while the car is on, move the dizzy a lil and then check the timing, or haave someone else move the dizzzy while you check it with the timing light.. once your at 16*+/- 2* tightin down the dizzy and un jump the connector and you shuold be good to go

edit: for those wondering, specs and procdures came from ALLDATA.COM

One for cam timing, and one for ignition timing. Too funny. Maybe you should have been more specific.
