i would search for this if i had time.

i tried starting my car today and the first time i did it today, it choked a little and then started. now im at work and it won't start at all. it chokes. i don't know what the fuel pump prime sounds like so i wouldn't be able to tell you if that is going or not. so i'm wondering if its the alternator or dizzy?

about 2 weeks ago i used a batteryless jump and then seemed to mess with my rpms and starting a little but went back to normal. the temp today is is upper 70's so i dont think temp has to do with it.

Any CELS. when u ran it this morning before work?. could have possibly threw it out of timing.. ??

and your Fuel Pump sound is when u turn the key on all the way, before u turn to make it crank, be very quiet your'll hear like an electronic hisss noise. if u hear it your good. you will hear it behind you..

dizzy can just make the car crank have you removed it recently. it goes in 2 ways only 1 way works. one will make the car crank in a lazy way and the other will start right up.

If your alternator is done. your car reaqlly wont do anything. it be as if ur car has no battery.. remember your alternator keeps your battery charged..

also the fuel pump does prime. i think it is the timing belt. is that something i can do myself? or is it better to take in and have someone else do it?

i also got the car to start after several times of letting the car prime fuel.

after a few times to prime fuel.. ok check your fuel filter. it might be clogged not letting the proper amount of gas go in.. also u want to check just as a precaution ur fuel pump MAIN relay. it's located under your steering column, above your hood opening latch. it should be a square box with a plug hooked up to it. google it to get qa feel of what it actually looks like .. the prong inside of it get cranked on the weld spots over the years of heat. so getting a new one is about 35 dollars on ebay.. u can open it and reweld the weld spots but i myself rather just get new parts. =]

check this out. if it's malfunctioning this is exactly what you want bud..

so i bought the main fuel relay and i put it in.

this fuel relay still doesnt prime on its own. i have to hit it to start it. so what else is wrong with it?

also sort of related, a bolt that holds the caliper down fell out. i don't know how but it did. whats the size of that bolt?

*update*

i put in the fuel filter and now it leaks. i bought it from autozone part number ff696. the bottom part leaks. i put in the new washers and it leaks. i replaced the bottom on w/ the old washer and it still leaks but leaks less.

the washer should go inbetween the line and the filter so the order should be banjo bolt, line, washer, filter.
