- Mon Oct 12, 2009 2:08 pm #150166 i am tryin to figure something out here. my got my CEL to flash the codes its flashing 14,17 which is idle air control valve and vss speed sensor...but i just replaced my speed sensor 4 days ago cuz my speedo wasnt working.now it is so its fixed so why is it still flashing that code?
is it cuz i havent reset the codes by disconnecting the neg battery cable or what?
and will a bad idle air valve cause it to die if the car isnt warm when i push the clutch in and idle REALLY low?

- Mon Oct 12, 2009 4:27 pm #150184 reset your ecu and then check the codes again. If the vss you put in is good, that code should go away.
