I guess this is the best place to put this.
So, my car stalls yes... d16z6 mostly stock.
When I drive to work in the morning it would die about half way (5 mins) and it would start back up after it sat for a bit.
I got smart and decided to start it up before I leave for work to let it warm up since its cold as shit here in Ohio.. Anyways...
I start it and it will run for conicidentally about 5 mins and the die while I'm still eating or whatever and it will fire right back up when I leave for work.
It only does this once! In the mornings and it runs/starts fine the rest of the day.
Idk what it could be, my rpms would flutter when I would drive it to work before it died.
I replaced my fuel filter yesterday and it didn't help.
I have some d15b7 distributors laying around if they're inter-changeable to see if thats my problem.
I'm open to any and all suggestions!
Thanks

When I would drive it the rpms would flutter and then it would just die from 3k rpms or whatever I was at to off.
Same while it idles to warm up in the morning. 6-700 to off.

I know its a definite brain buster for sure. lol
I've only had this car for like 3-4 months max.
It stalled when I got done test driving it as I was about to drive it home, but the guy gave my money back and took it to his dealership and had a Honda mechanic fix it. He replaced the coil and put a new dist cap n plug wire on it if I'm not mistaken...
Although when it died that time it wouldn't start back up at all or even the next day. He had to trailer it on a flatbed to the dealership.
Now it starts up after sitting for a few minutes.
It never did anything like this until one day it died and it has ever since.
If it was the weather I would think it would happen more than once a day under the same conditions.

clean the fast idle thermo valve and your idle air control valve. the first can be found at the bottom of your throtlle body. it has the coolant line running to it. the second is found on the back of your intake manifold and it is held on by two 12mm screws and also has coolant running to it. because the problem stops after the car heats up im guessing its the thermo valve. also if the white screw inside is loose tighten it with a flat head.

The CEL only comes on before I start while my fuel pump is priming.
AND if I sit and crank the car when it wont start after stalling.
Otherwise no.

Funny thing. It didn't die yesterday or today.

I'm almost sure that your main relay is about to die. Cheik it out before it dies completely. Under the steering wheel, by the fuse box.

It didn't stall at all the last week. It only does it once per day.
and the rest of the day its fine.
