#151756 My 92 dx originally had a 5/8" thick radiator. I replaced it ~5 years ago from Advanced Auto and the replacement was 1.25" thick.
I just ordered another replacement off ebay and it is 5/8" thick :x

So What models of civic come with 5/8" and what ones come with 1.25" :?
I'm guessing EX and Si (D16z6) should have the thicker 1.25" one...

So now I'm back to the thin radiator with a boosted D16z6. The car never ran hot with the 1.25" thick radiator... Guess I'll see how the 5/8" one does the job.

#151781 most civics came with the single core radiators. THe really thin ones. Autozone used to sell the dual core unit as a replacement for all civics. Del sol are the ones that got the bigger radiator. I got one of the dual core ones in my b swapped car, and the replacement thinner one for my D...i was very upset when I got a new one for my car and it wasnt the big one again... I yelled at the workers at autozone.

yes. but, if the engine can't get itself hot enough it will run in warm up mode (high rpms) which isn't great. if its pretty hot where you live, and plan on drivin it hard anyway.... go for it
