wich d series is this? and what is the tuning potential for the engine?
could i put a different intake and throttle body on or something along those lines,im very new to the honda game[/i]

any help and advice much apreciated

Looks like a DPFI D15 to me. Whatever it is, it's clean as fuck.

this is right. your best bet for "tunability" is multi-port conversion. then go with either a mini-me or a swap.

What you can do to prevent the major down time of an engine/head swap is start working on your suspension and chassis. Making your chassis stiffer is the best way to really feel your car and what it can do and what it wants to do in corners. Good rubber will be a huge help as well.

noppers. Those had the spark plugs on the front side of the motor like sohc vtec motors.
