this is right. your best bet for "tunability" is multi-port conversion. then go with either a mini-me or a swap.

#152863 how would i go about a multi port conversion? is there a diy thread on here?

#152867 Mini-me swap:

MPFI swap:
I can't find a link to it.

I'm also not sure what is involved with a MPFI conversion, but someone else on here will definitely be able to help you out there.

#152870 Drop a B18C in there and call it a day.

#152872 im a student pesant at the moment, and i need the car everyday for transport so a swap would have to wait till summer so for the time being, exhaust and manifold and the intake side sorted, its just a toy at the moment.

#152880 you can look at the code on the engine block. it will say exactly what you have.

nice engine tho

#152881 I hear ya. I'm in the same boat unfortunately.

What you can do to prevent the major down time of an engine/head swap is start working on your suspension and chassis. Making your chassis stiffer is the best way to really feel your car and what it can do and what it wants to do in corners. Good rubber will be a huge help as well.

As far as this thread, I digress. Let us keep it on topic.
