Does anyone know if an F series Motor will fit into a 92 Civic Coupe? Is it a drop and drive or will it need a lot of alteration? Thanks Guys

A little bit of work but no more than a B swap.

the f22 non vtec head is the best flowing head honda has made to date. no head flows better, Put in a beasty cam and some higher comp pistons and have some awesome n/a fun.

IF you boost the f22 also has a very low comp setup, good for boosting.

Also F22's have a stronger bottom end and better cylinder walls then the h22. You can install a h22 head on an f22b and get the benefits of both.Still cant get past that the h22 head still doesn't flow as good as the non-vtec f22 head.

Swapping in a F block is just like swapping in an H, you will need hassport mounts, and to convert to a cable shifter setup, unless you wanna run a H2b or h2d setup. and use a b or d series transmission.

One thing of major note is that the f/h engines in an eg will have more mass infrount of the shock towers thus negatively effecting handling. If you are planning on doing Auto Cross, then this is not a swap for you.
