k so i just installed my oem honda lsd tranny on my d16z6 and sarted my car to find after 1-2min the tranny to be covered in oil.....not like someone poured oil on it but like a fim of oil where the tranny turned dark if that makes sense.

it looks to me like maybe the o-ring for the distributor is bad? could that cause a leak that bad? could it be seeping from the HG?? idk at this point

..........dont know if this will help..... the green is what is happening on my tranny (dark area).....the red is where that is happenin on my trans/motor

if its just that side then its most likely the dist. but throw some degreaser on there and when its clean start it up and wait to c where it leaks. a bad o-ring will def cause a leak.

ifn its the oil pan its either the drain bolt or the seal. so replace the bolt or get a new pan.

Is it leaking from your gasket or from you drain plug. If that o-ring is bad enough the oil from that could be running down the oil pan. Change the o-ring and then clean up all the oil and see if it is still leaking from your oil pan.
