although I have already read many posts here, this is my first post. unfortunately for bad reasons.

I have an EG4 D15b2, and randomly i wont start, but only if i ride it for 10Km(~6 miles) +/- turn it off and go do something for one or two minutes, when I come back it wont start. I hear the start engine running but no ignition. I have to take out the key wait 5 minutes +/- and then try again and it starts...

when i turn the key i hear the gasoline pump some times, other times i dont hear it.

I'm changing the gasoline filter.
any other ideas ?

- Wed Dec 09, 2009 2:41 pm #160802 if it is the fuel pump not priming, then there's a good chance it is the Main Relay, located under the driver's side dash near the hood release. (Pasenger side dash on RHD cars?)

Do a search for "main and relay" ('and' between the words will bring more specific results)
There's a lot of topics about this, it happens to a lot of civics
