timeing belt cover broken

On my 92 eg,bone stock , I noticed the timeing belt cover is broken,could that be the couse of bogging,no throttle responce,on first gear it takes ok and about 4000 rmps it seems to cut out.

Forgot to add,that the timing belt cover seems to be rubbing on the timeing belt

do u have a check engine light.

I dont see that as what is causing your problem. You will want to fix it though. Take it off, or get a new one.

the loss of power could be your bad map sensor..... i just noticed you had two post. try the fix i said and then let us know.
