when i unplug the iacv the car should shut off should it? and all i was readin i think on here or one the links off here that the botton hole in the tb is for the iacv right....cuz my car making a loud hissing noise and when i put my finger over that whole it stops... of course it cut off lol....but when i took off my iacv to clean it i found it had no gasket...so im replacing that....do yall think that could cause the whole problem?

theres no difference between the two .....

the only 6 vaccums are as follows.from memory....

1-from the vaccum canister to the top of the throttle body or depending on where the map sensor is to there(other location is on the firewall)

2-brake master cyl to intake

3-theres a small line from the vaccum canister that goes to the fire wall....

4-intake to fuel pressure regulator

5-valve cover to intake

6-theres another small line from the cvaccum canister to the vaccum sensor on the back of the intake manifold

yes it should fix it you defiantely had a vaccum leak ummm hows your tb gasket since thats the other thing id look for if that iacv didnt have it....

and also yea teh bottom hole is for coolant flow on the tb....

and i see you changed stuff around lol your first question was the difference between z6 and b7 vaccum lines..... makes my first post look well misplaced

no problem i just got horribly confused and thought i had read something else and posted in the wrong area but yea that gasket should help you...make sure you bleed the coolant as well
