ok really before i get into this to far does anyone on here have a post for how to tell if the fuel pump goin out....i ask because in my automotive class there a chart with different symptoms and hesitation was one of them...well i got to thinkin and my car every now and then hesitate when i press the gas and it does it in 1st thru 4th doesn't do it all the time...just out the blue sometimes so is there a post already up on here....so i dont have to keep bothering yall

well first did you check all ur plugs and plug wires. make sure underneath is all accounted everything is tightened down and grounds are good. I just got a civic and could loosen the dizzy with my hand good luck tho ive never had fuel pump problems

does it prime up right. loud whining. aside from that the synptoms u listed are spot on. the problems with ur car could be a lot of things........ when was the last time u changed the fuel filter?

i changed it like 2 weeks ago
