is there a difference between the d15 and d16 manifold? i am in the process of getting parts to do a mini me swap with a d16z6 and i cant seem to see a difference in the intakes even tho i read that the d16 one flow better.

D16z6 intake manifold has larger piping, the d15b7 has smaller pipping.

Both intake manifolds have the same bolt pattern they are interchangable.

the d15z1 intake manifold is a smaller bolt pattern similar to the pre88 d series. All other 88-00 D Series intake manifolds should be interchangable.

when i did the swap and switched manifolds i found i had an extra line out of the manifold for coolant that didnt have a hose,
i did some searching and...



i found that i had to make a T joint into the other existing coolant hose coming up from the top of the vavle cover.

other than that they are very similar.
