Do some serious research to decide if you can tackle this project. With that kind of mileage, you'll most likely need some machine work done too. Cylinder Hone for sure and possibly a more if they are any out of round. Possibly micropolishing the crank depending on it's condition. Now for bearings, you can use the
color coding system by Honda and check with plastigauge, but last I checked they didn't even make all of those bearings anymore. So if you go with aftermarket, such as ACL, you'll need micrometers that measure to one-thousandth of an inch.
Is your motor knocking or smoking or consuming oil?
