while driving home last night in the rain my altanator belt got wet and slipped for about 5 sec. Then several miles later it died. I restarted it while still rolling slow and it started right up then after about 100 yds did it again. It will start up no problem so would the altanator getting wet make the car die like this. I have no fender plastic and Im lowered.

????????????????????

it starts right up no problem. It happened as i pulled into my neighborhood, CEL and oil light and battery light and it died (all at once though) It never jumped or anything, just quit running.

so it stalled once in the rain and has been fine since?
is there a CEL on still?

5 seconds of slipping is not long enough of a time to drain the battery, I drove ~15 miles one time with no alternator belt. :hehe:

Is the engine running normal?

well it died the whole way thru the neighborhood. I know the battery didnt die because i still had power. Its like if you stall out, the car dies and the cel oil light and battery light come on. Thats what it did about every 100 yds till i got it home and havent drove it since *(i also think i put it happened last night but it was tonight just about an hour ago)*
