Spark Plug Gap & Oil Filter

Searched, but couldn't find a clear answer.

What's the recommended gap for these engines? I've heard .052 but that seems pretty high. I'm not a big fan of just throwing in plugs from the box, even if they're pre-gapped..want to make sure they're all to spec. I read the gap under the hood but it confused the hell out of me

Also, what filter is recommended? I normally use Puraltor in my SRT, and I don't want to go with Fram...

Gapped 'em to .040, which is what they pretty much came with (NGK) out of the box. Oh well. Wires seem pretty bad too... :?

For the air filter I like the re-usable K&N. Just don't over oil it like some people do.

.038 NA
.028 boosted

I just get OEM filters. Takes the guesswork out of choosing a filter, because you know it's quality. And they're cheap too.
