hey guys i am new here. i have tried the search engine a little for this already. i have a y8 swap in my 94 ex coupe. it was already swapped when i bought it. only one of the distributor bolt holes lines up to the head when it is adjusted right. i am not sure how to identify which distributor it is that i have, but the connectors are the same and vtec does work. i was wondering, what is the correct distributor for me to use with my swap/stock z6 harness match and also be able to fully bolt the distributor down? thx for the help

I can't say 100% but I don't think the distributor has anything to do with vtec.
I don't see why a D15b7 distributor wouldn't plug into your z6 harness. D15b7 dizzy DO fit y8 heads perfectly
