Civic EG

I drive my car everywhere, four days ago i stopped at the g.s. to fill up then jumped in my car and started it. then after a second of running it just shut off. After it does this it does not want to run at all. Then if i wait a few minutes it starts. Its done this to me three times in the past four days. Could it be a spark related problem? Any advice would be great thanx.

It could be insufficient fuel reaching the injectors and try checking your dizzy coil or alternator.

if it happens during fill up i would say fuel problem. cause once you reales the pressur after taking of the cap, it may pull some of the fuel out the line.

could it be my cap an rotor? My altonator is good.

worn cap & rotor would cause the car to miss, not just die completely.

Do you have spark? any CELs? Fuel pressure? does the pump prime?
When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?

I have all spark, it primes. i haven't changed the filter yet. Ill do that today an just have to wait an see if it does it again. thanx all
