Mini me on an older d series

Me and my brother are trying to build his 86 crx. I know its not an eg, its an ee, but this is the only compedent forum I have found. Any way it has a D15b2, its kind of an old school old school engine, but is it still possible to do a mini swap for under the price of droping in a zc or a b series? What are all the parts im going to need besides the usual mini swap hardware?

I think you would need to convert the car to OBD1 and MPFI.

the engine has multi port in it right now but its 12 vavlve. the obd0 to obd1 conversion would be easy but the throttlle body on the mani is crazy with more vacume than ive seen on 80s modle domestics lol

pre 88 and post 88 D Series are different and nothing is exchangeable, Transmissions, heads, blocks, etc.
If you want a Mini me, you will need a post 88 d seres block, and tramission, then swap those into your 86 civic.

thats what i figured the whole set up looked a little funny the whole car has me a lil dumbfounded its kinda oldschool
