Id say no one because you can pick up a Z6 whole swap for 3-400 easily plus that Y8 may need machine work and the 96+ have mysterious oiling issues or so they say......so id keep looking i mean you could do a mini me head swap but thats about it definitely asking a bit too much if you will. exspecially for something with a spun bearing....

if its got a spun rod bearing who knows what else is wrong. my spun bearing caused a rod to snap and fly outta my block.

its obd2 he wont be able to sue the harness.....and for just the head heck technically well normally you can get a whole mini me for 150 thats good head, harness, ecu, etc.....now yea a y8 head is good but to be honest who knows what else could be wrong could have metal shavings in the head which would make crap worse....etc....

the head, valve cover, and intake manifold are worth 150. It's like getting a free bottom end in need of a rebuild.
But you never know what else is wrong....

Thanks for all the replies. Depending on whether or not this guy will let me look at the head and drop the oil pan, I'll make my decisions based on that. Could be that its in great shape, both head and bottom. Or I could be completely wrong. lol

Id say to be honest look under the valve cover see if theres any shiny stuff (i.e. metal shavings ) if so then pass if not offer 100 even and see what happens.....just read comes with all accessories as well so i mean your getting a decent amount exspecially if you get it for 100. but try and get him to beleive which it also might need machine work on the crank....
