i recently did a mini me swap on my 94 eg8 sedan with a d15b7 and recently i noticed the v-tec is not hittin anymore. also the ecu is popin the code 22 for the v-tec pressure sensor. i have already checked all my connections to the sensor and the ecu and they are all good and i have pulled the whole v-tec out and cleaned the ports and the screen and it still isnt workin. do i need to get a new pressure sensor or is there something else i can try?

thanks

check oil level
if your even a quart low vtec wont engage
you can check the resitance on the pressure switch not sure what is it but if you have a manual on your civic that will help

that might help not for civics but same concept
if it was me id just go get a new one from a junkyard
they are cheap or you can just pocket it

its probally the pressure sensor... if your on a budget ive heard that the power steering pressure switch will work, there at junk yards and most yards will just let you have them, but i cant 100% copnfirm this that they will work if not you can get one at any parts store i know advanced auto has them for sure...
