are all d series piston rings the same
i need to get some rings for my pm3's and i wanna know if i can just order z6 rings or should i get the d15b7 rings?
majestic honda has diffrent part number for the two but every other site i have tried they are the same :? :?
only reason i ask is its cheaper to get rings and bearings for the z6 then just getting bearings and buying rings seperatly :thumb:

d15's and d16's have 75mm bore, but the pistons are specific to each motor.
d16 crankshafts have bigger rod and main journals than d15 crank
z6 and b7 use the same piston rings, but different bearings

wait!
pm3 pistons are WAY to tall for a d16 block.
just get some d16 pistons.
this is where i have gotten parts for several rebuilds:
