pm9 vs. pm3

- Fri Apr 02, 2010 4:31 am #185074 so i'm replacing my head gasket in the next couple of days and i'm fear that the head might be warped. question is can i swap out my possible warped pm9 for a resurfaced pm3? honda told me no because of the year difference.

- Fri Apr 02, 2010 9:36 pm #185200 a pm3 is a d16a6 head right? if it is i dont THINK it will work cuz either the dizzy might not line up r water jackets will line up cuz the one for the intake man on the a6 is round and the b7 is square. then youll need ef spark plug wires a timing belt dont know if you stock one is to big or small if im wrong someone chime in

- Sat Apr 03, 2010 3:30 am #185255 to be honest, all D series sohc heads will fit on all D series sohc blocks. What you will have to worry about is the dizzy and obd systems. The only variance to this is the Dohc zc.

All 88-00 D Series Heads. the Pre 88 and post 00 heads are different.
