burning oil in my d16z6

i just want to make sure i belive im just missing the bolt, but i dont want to put a bolt in and something messes up.

here is a pic of where i belive a bolt should be its also missing a bolt directy on the other side

That bolt is for the power steering/ac bracket. Not having that bolt in will not cause your engine to burn oil. That's most likely internal, such as worn piston rings or valve seals. How many miles does it have?

i couldnt see the pic, so i waited for someone else to comment, but i agree with him about the rings and valve seals, something else to check is a pcv valve :thumb: thats a way cheap first check.... my first mini me burnt oil slightly, this helped it alot, it still burnt some oil but not near as much....

i swapped the engine in with 125,000 and it started burning with around 127, 000 and its been burning oil for about 3 thousand miles now

like i said before the pcv is a easy and cheap first check :thumb:

yeah no prob man :thumb: its often over looked, and it helpd my mini me a good bit...
