ok im about to change the water pump, timing belt and tensioner on my d16z6.

Now the car since ive had it has been good,

now i know before dismantling i have to put the engine at TDC.

now once it's in tdc, and i have things apart, down below. how would i be able to tell if the head and block are timed properly.?
any marks i should look for?..

- Fri Apr 23, 2010 12:21 am #189411 once you have the crank pully off there a mark on the lower oil pump gear that will signify the bottom end being at tdc and of coarse the cam gear up top has the marks as well....

the red mark is 16*btdc
