mini me question

hey guyys im doing into a bit of research for a possible future job, a mate got in touch and has an ek3 1.5 vtec-e with a d15z6, he has a d16z6 head and was wondering what sort of work would be needed to do this. anyhelp will help us out cheers. stuart

Yes you can put a z6 head on that motor
You can use the d15z1 distributor on the z6 head too.

d15z6 is a european only motor basically a d16z6 cept its obd2 and vtec kicks in lower for better torque
i see no point in swapping heads its basically the same head
you could swap heads but your gonna have to switch the head to obd2 wich is not worth it in my opinion

you could put the z6 cam in the z5 head and swap intake manifolds
that might be a nice little power adder
if you want to do a head swap i would sugest doing a y8 head swap since you already have obd2
