yes i kno its pointless since a z1 is not meant for performance but hey i can get a free header for a d16z6 will it fit my D15z1?

Yes it will fit. I have one on my D15z1 in kombination with a D16z6 cat. But i had to move the O² sensor to the collector under the car and block the stock lokation, because it will throw you a cellcode when your run downhill and use the enginebrake.

If you have a VX then you'll need to have some exhaust work done.
