my hatch used to run and when i turned it on today all of a sudden it died immideately now the fuel pump doesnt prime and it wont start at all now?

grounds and everything are good cel light is
10IAT - intake air temperature sensor and 21 VTEC spool solenoid valve.

the car used to start and still have these same codes vtec isnt an issue but would the IAT not let the car start? or could i have a bad relay now if so what would of caused to go out?

check your main relay. turn the key to on and listen for a few click next to the fuse box. if no clicks are heard it probaly the main relay.

im pretty sure i did hear a click. but im going to go recheck and see.
if i have a click then what?

and is the click from the cabin fuse box or engine bay


EDIT: just checked and i have no click so now im off to find a new relay.

a new main relay at my local auto parts store is $50 i got lucky a got a good one at junkyard for $2.99

The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor resistance changes in response to the intake air temperature. The sensor resistance decreases as the surrounding air temperature increases. This provides a signal to the ECU, indicating the temperature of the incoming air charge.

Now what can happen when ur IAT is faulty is..

****Extended crank time when the engine is cold ******
Poor fuel economy
Spark knock .


New IAT is around 20 bucks at honda..

wait there is a fuel pump relay... i thought that it was part of the main relay i didnt know that there was a second one?

when the weather gets warm, the main relays start going bad.
