Why not just look at the stamp on the block....?

I dont have it, I have my eye on buying it but the guy seems to think that all D16's are the same.... it has to be a z6/y8 i think but I really want a Z6. I thought someone on here may be able to tell by this pic, otherwise its a case of relying on the guy selling it. its too far away to look at before bidding on it...

probably a z6, definitely not a y8.
he says its a d16 so probably not a d15b, or mini-me (if you can trust him).

its not a y7 unless they swapped blocks because the oil dipstick is on the side of the block on the Y7, not the center of the exhaust manifold.

and the Y8 has the dipstick on the side as well, so its most likely not a y8 either unless they swapped blocks (which i doubt)

the guy has gone silent now too.... Ive said ill bid so long as he tells me whats stamped on the block. either he's too lazy to go out and look, or has something to hide at the moment bids are up to £5 lol, if its a z6 I really want it

I really want a Z6 I can build up and work on (get rid of the D15B7)... I'm not touching it unless he shows me the stamp but he's bein a pain in the ass

Walk away from this, trust me. I've been in this situation many times. This is exactly how someone behaves when they're about to rip you off.
