ok so up intill yestrday i havnt had any probs wit this but outa nowere my car strts leakin from the water pump but im thinkin it cud jus b da seal but idk. so my question is is it possible to over fill the watr pump? an shudi jus change the seal or the whole thing? an if i do change it do i have to do the timing belt to?

It will leak out of the weep holes to tell you that it's bad.

I would recommend replacing the timing belt and tensioner since the labor is the same.

and the water pump!

yea change the timing belt and water pump and tensioner. you cant just change the seal it dont work that way lol.

Yeah it's not the seal that's leaking. It's leaking through the shaft itself. That's what the weep holes were designed for.

So to summarize this thread. Change the water pump, timing belt, and tensioner, and don't forget the water pump! LOL.
