headers on d series

ok my headers on my d16 ...well the gasket between the headers and downpipe blew now it sounds like a truck my best bet is to buy a gasket maker and make one but i was thinkin should i weld my headers to my downpipe or is that a no go? becuz i really dnt wanna deel with replaceing the fuckin gasket over and over again

yes you can weld them together but it does make it a little more difficult to put in and out i would weld them IMO

I dont know what brand you bought but i made a gasket from a nissan 300zx fit my buddies no name headers had to make some adjustments but worked just fine....only real option in not using a gasket is to weld them things up.....

Take your old one to an exhaust shop and have them match it up. They gave me a free one.
