LOW idle when stopped

Hey, my d16z6 has always idled a little lower than I thought it would but it recently started idling at around 100 rpm or dangerously low. It never stumbles but just idles low. Does this hurt the engine? Is there something I can do to fix it?

You could check your idle control valve located on your throttle body. You can turn it with a flat head. Once your car is warm adjust it counterclockwise in increments revving it after each adjustment . See if that helps

I'm with the other guys suggestion, IACV needs to be cleaned, if possible also the TB
however, there are a lot of factors needed also to consider.. is it when your aircondition running when you experienced low idling? etc?...

the A/C makes it sputter and almost die if it's at idle, so I don't use my A/C. windows down FTW

FITV could be the culprit as well, although that usually causes a bouncy idle. Pull it off and tighten it anyway just to make sure.
