If you got a D16 and you have stuff done to it, please guide me towards what works and what doesn't. Looking for NA HP/TQ numbers. I've been considering a swap as a priority until i saw a kid with some bolt on work and tuning work done to his EG do a 14 second pass. Thats fast enough for my daily right now.

its nothing special, alone...and i never here of any 'crazy' numbers out of one NA. Boost on the other hand, if you spent about 1500, you coudl have about 200hp and 190tq prolly. thats what i woudl be doing.
What motor do you have right now?

I got a D16 sohc vtec. I mean im not looking for H22 n/a numbers, but around 130-140 would be sweet enough till I pull the motor someday. Intake, exhaust, wires and plugs is bout all I got done to the engine. Any tips on more power for cheap with this setup?

cam/head work and a thinner head gasket for higher compression ratio would be a good foundation. Intake mani, & TB and full exhaust as mentioned above will help it breathe. Then bolt up a Si tranny, that alone will make a big difference with the short gears. If you don't care for AC or Power Steering, ditch them to free up a few HP.
NA isn't the D16's strong point, but it can be done.

I learn the hard way not to to get more power for cheap. build something that's reliable, its better to have 10 hp less that will last for a long time that to have 10 hp more and blow it a week later.
Power for cheap
juice it! with a 50-shot would be more than enough
