supercharger? d15b

i am rebuilding my jdm d15b and happend to find a jrsc for 500 with all sensors and a throttle body
but heres my problem what do i do about a belt? what do i do about an alternator bracket ?
i know user ikon is running a supercharger on his d15b
i have searched on d series and found tons of info but no info about the actuall install of the supercharger
any info would be great

I have the same issue. I bought a jrsc for $350 a while back but it didnt come with the alt bracket or the tensioner setup. they dont make them anymore.

there is the old page from when they used to sell the D series stuff. it has all the part numbers in the PDF form.

I've also been told on here that if you call Jackson Racing and hound them about it that they will make the parts and send them to you. but idk i havent tried it as i have not had the money all summer.

jus call jackson racing... they were really helpful. i ordered the alternator bracket and didnt even need it... it looks the exact same but i put it on jus to b safe. make sure u have all the parts.... heres a parts list....

the bracket was 80 nd the belt was 45 and all the tubing was like 8 bucks.... pretty cheap i guess

is that all? what about the tensioners? and the belt is only $15 from supercharger.com

ur right i meant 15.... mine came with the tensioners.... he didnt say if his did..... eg84dr does urs have the tensioner....... if not then def hound jackson..... ask for steve hes a guru for the d series chargers.

is 500 a good deal or not really i mean i know they dont make them any more so i guess it is
also ikon what do u run for tuning as the supercharger imlooking at doesnt come with the piggy back system from jackson

as far as fuel i have the jackson fmu which they say sucks.... idk. and the jackson racing boost timing controller. as far as ecu its getting tuned now.... jus waiting to get back the ecu. i have a friend with the same setup and imma run his fuel maps etc. ill let u ko more when i find out. but for now im on a stock p28 so im running d16z6 fuel maps and ive had no problems. goin on 6 months and some serious track time. :thumb:

oh and yes its a good deal. jus check the ports to see how dirty they are. this will tell u how much its been used. check the pulley for play or wiggle. the worst thing is if the coating on the rotors inside the charger are worn but youd have to take it apart to see that. jus test for play and any loose parts. if its solid id say go for it. and u need the tensioner so call jackson racing. :thumb:

dude like they said just call up jackson. they are helpful and i too have a jrsc on my z6 totally worth it you wont be disappionted at all
