all 88-00 D Series are comptable. With Exception of the D16a1(Dohc d series)

You can use an 88-00 D Series tranny on any 88-00 D series engine.

If your using a EG, you will want any 92-00 Transmission as its hydrolic.

The Intake Manifolds on all 88-00 D Series(agian minus d16a1) are comptable with each other. Some will have Map senors on throttle bodys, some will have different runner/plenums, however they all will bolt up.

If you want to use the d15b7 intake manifold on the D15b8 it should help out. the d15b8 throttle body and intake pipe are tiny. I was surprised when I saw my friends stock d15b8 in his CX Hatch. Even going to a d15b8 Throttle body and intake pipe should help greatly.

Rods are good to 200hp or so. I wouldn't take it over that. To be honest it will be real hard to get a stock d15b8 that high anyways.
