d13b2 problem

hello! my frend has an civic 94 with d13b2 engine.a few weeks ago a problem appears.when he accelerates the engine at about 1500 rpm it stops for a second and after that it revs up normaly.we changed the spark plugs and the shit was gone but the fuel consumption went high.its at 10 l/100km or 2,64gal/60mph.any help needed.thanks alot!

Check engine light?.
Check your TPS or your O2 sensor..

there's no check engine light on and i canot do the cel diagnosis cuz i cannot find the diagnosis plug.

i have a "93 civic eg3(d13b2) and i had the same problem at 1500rpm and i cleaned and checked the carb.after this my consuption is also 10l/100km.have you solved the problem?please tell me what can i do to reduce the fuel consumption at 6l like before(before this i made 369km with 21l of gasoline).thx

no,i've checked all this.i think is the ignition for the spark plugs.i will check that also very soon..for now i have to change a planetary

i'v removed and cleaned the carb and nu effect.also checked the throtle cable,all vacuum hozes and the tps senzor but no change.
problem solved.

it was an error at the vacuum and i fixed it today.i made a consumtion test L5,7l/102km.perfect..yeeeeeyyy

Hi i have same problem my car runs 10L on 100 Km and i drive normal fastest is 80 kmh with change gears on 2500 rpm... How to fix that ?

When you say it was a vacuum error what do you mean? I have the same engine, I get good fuel consumption but I do have a really bad idle problem that's affected by the electrics being turned on

do u have some black box? with around 15 black chitterlings? last 2 are for fuel dont touch them. Others are for air and vacuum... Maybe u cant see but some of them are maybe broken. Try to change all of them expect fuel ones that are on the bottom. And change Step engine is located
