Civic EG

Hey guys and gals, I have a d16 DOHC non vtec and planning to change headers and exhaust. Any ideas what should I get? This is my first H so yeah.

Depends on what you want, if you want cheap performance I would recommend getting ebay headers and a custom 2.25-2.5" exhaust with resinatators, and a Turbo Muffler. It will give a nice deep low brumble and not sound like a fart cannon.

Going with any of the ebay exhausts will make your car sound bad and ricey.

i don't intend on buying on ebay anyway.

yea fuck egay that shit is caca get a nice whale penis some headers and get rid of the cat make it straight pipe i personally have the apexi world sport 2 that exhaust is sick it sounds stock but a little louder if you wanna get alittle more power get some bisimoto cams and cam gears and hey bro its a SOHC

yea true but didnt those only come in 86-91 civic and crx they were more common in the integra which is the LS

i have 92 eg si and yeah here in AUS its d16a8 but in US its d16a9

if u have emission laws leave ur cat, taking cats off only give like 2hp increase, not worth it if u have emission laws and it makes the car a lil louder, but like chrono said a nice header in a good catback ur car should be a lil quicker n sound alot better

Go to d-series.org they have plenty info on the dohc zc engine...if u want to make power too, they have lots of info about that too. Im trying to get my hands on one to. Its said to be a drop in on our engine w/ little modifiction to the wire harness...
