- Wed Dec 15, 2010 5:03 am #227967 so i swapped my old z6 (ha freshly rehbuilt >3k on it) into my lil bros eg sedan for him whiles hes away in the army as a kinda christamas preseant for him. (his b7 has 300k on it and blown trams).

however on his car the MAP is located on the firewall and on my z6 its on top the throttle body. so i unplugged the sensor on the firewall and plugged it into the sensor on the tb, it seems to be running ok but has some studders and also the cel is on for the map sensor.

do i have it set up right? or is there a certain way to do this?

also i used the d15b7 harness and wired in vtec.

- Wed Dec 15, 2010 5:42 am #227972 You have it hooked up correctly. You have a few options how to fix the bad map sensor. You can 1) get and install a new map sensor for your throttle body(DIY linked under misc and 'D.I.Y How-To List') or 2) Put the d15b7 throttle body on your d16z6 and use the d15b7's map sensor which was on the firewall.
