need some clarification

what i need to know is

is the VX timing belt and the water pump
the same as the d15b vtec, or would i use the z6??

all the post i found on google its a bunch of bashing haters arguing with each other

ok so a all d15b vtec, id would need the vx timing belt and the vx water pump?

Not sure if the JDM D15B is the same as those, but I would lean toward yes.

THe D16z6 and D15z1 timing belts have different part #'s from Honda.

You want to use the water pump for the block you are using. :thumb:

just wanna get all the research outta the way

- Sat Dec 18, 2010 3:03 pm #228620 I made the mistake of using the z6 timing belt and now my engine squeals each time I start it. So the z6 belt does work but its really annoying @ start up. I later found out that the vx belt was the one I should have purchased instead :wink:

Timing belts dont squeal!!! it's ur alternator belt. =]
