d15b7 + z1 head

just wondering if someone heard about that kinda swap of d series? if someone did it share with me, please, u should get hihg cr d series engine, i still working on it, but not enough time to work :(

yes higher compression but not much power
the z1 head is like a coffee stirer compared to a staw from mc donalds
in simple words they dont flow well at all
if your looking for high compression and great gas mileage then go for the swap

its allrady done, i'am riding it, but cant say nothing about good mileage, just because its not finishet jet, mayby :/
need to get adjustable cam gear for now, and by the way, may crx is about 13 :)

the d15z1 motor is engineered for high fuel mileage and not power but if you take only the head from that setup, you're not going to have the correct ecu, intake manifold or air fuel ratio or vtec-e lean burn mode to achieve the excellent mileage. So it makes more sense to use a vtec head that is not from a vtec-e motor.

by the way, i'am usin d16z6 intake for my z1 head, and yes, i need to do my ecu, at the and should be about 150hp..and at low rpm shoud be very friendly with mpg

there's no way that setup will make more power than a Z6 head mini-me, which doesn't even make that kind of power...

for now i'am using d15z1 ecu (p07), i still need to remove rev limiter 7.2krpm, and about hp, civic was on dyno, at that time he had 130hp, but dont remember torque..so now trying to find out that to do next :)
