trany swap help

ok picked up my new 95 eg cuple months ago onld bad part is its a auto.
guna do a trans swap soon just tryin to figure out wht all tranys bolt up to the d16z6??

Any hydro D series tranny will work just fine. all ya gotta do is decide what kinda gearing you want

heres a quick run down of d series trannys
d15z1 (vx) crazy gas mileage tranny horrible for acceleration or really anything involving speeds over 65
d15b7 (dx,lx) decent gas mileage and decent for acceleration all around pretty average.
d16z6 (si/ex) great for acceleration and bombing around on back roads or twistys, not so great for gas mileage unless you baby it
i personally have the si/ex trans and love it i can get 38 mpgs on the highway and still have tons of fun on twisty roads
also the si/ex trans has the best third gear i have ever driven out of any car

any d series tranny will bolt up. even the zx dohc trany from obd0 but it comes with the halfshaft.
If you get any obd0 d series trany its cable even the zc so you have to have a hydro to cable conversion.
