Anyone done this swap? my hatch has the B2 and I have another Z6, Just wandering if what the swap entails? Would I need another interior loom? I know the 92's are prewired for VTEC :)

I am doing the swap dude, for ease I bought a running ESI with everything I need and transferring it all over to my DX.

I haven't stripped down my DX so I don't know what interior loom it has and if it needs changing, but I'm pretty sure it does need changing.

I dont think the DX has a main relay or anything... I have everything for the Z6 in the bay but im sure itll be much more work inside...

ive done swap from d13b2 to d16y2 (same as z6).

you have to:
- buy and install new cabin and engine harness with main relay (thats the easiest way. to make cabin harness from d13b2 fit your new engine. you would have to do AAAAALOT of conversions like adding new wires and so on which is a hard job unless you know a lot when talking about wiring diagrams and all that electric stuff)
- install new fuel wires because those from d13b2 dont have enough flow ratio to supply your new engine with fuel.
- install new gas tank with electric pump in it (stock one from coupe with d15b7 or any other mpfi engine will fit - thats another reason for installing new cabin harness - d13b2 hasnt got wires to connect an electric pump inside the gas tank which is neccesary)

i think thats all. ive done it with my friends and it took me about 4 nights. the hardest part is unmounting old cabin harness and replacing it with a new one. rest of the job is quite an easygoing.

i hope my english is good enough that you can understand well what i wanted to tell you ;)

good luck!
