Hey guys, I'm new to this site n so far it seems pretty cool so i'd thought i'd ask a tech question. First thing i have got a 92 hatch civic with the d15b4( twincarbed engine) i got an issue n my mechanic can't seem to find the prob, it's doing after about 15mins the revs drop to the lowest point then it just stalls n wont start again 4 at least 20 mins( last this happened it didnt start 4 a few hours later) got told the cat converter was blocked so i got a high flowed one put in n it still does it. while driving i can smell a burning type smell( thought of cleaning the carbs by hand) just got it services n the mechanic mentioned to get the carbs tuned, he said the tune is off. i have asked to get the carbs blanced n tuned, i might even buy new ones if it's cheaper. what could b causing the revs to drop? could it b the dizzy? the leads? i have changed them to racing spec ones. could it b a censor? carbs full of shit n need to b cleaned by hand? valves closing or a electrical prob? any help would b great, cheers guys. look out 4 my car to b posted very soon
